Not being able to drive is a challenging adjustment that people with visual impairments need to make. While family and friends can often offer a ride, knowing how to independently access other options for getting around can help reduce anxiety and build independence.
Join IN-SIGHT staff members Doreen Holmes and Ashley Whittemore for an overview of some potential transportation options including RIDE, FLEX, fixed route bus service, MTM, ride share services, municipal transportation, and volunteer programs.
Participants will receive a personal list of options researched by IN-SIGHT staff.
