IN-SIGHT’s summer orientation and mobility camp is a unique free experience for children who are blind and visually impaired. Staffed by certified orientation and mobility specialists the camp focuses on helping the participants to step out of their comfort zones by participating in a wide array of activities that build skills and independence.
We are pleased to announce that after taking a year off due to COVID-related restrictions, we are pleased to announce that camp will happen this year from July 12 – 23 with the proper safety protocols in place.
We expect up to sixteen children who are blind and visually impaired will be a part of this year’s program. Activities are still being mapped out but are likely to include a lot of outdoor activities including kayaking.
Your support can help make this year’s camp the best ever. Please consider making a donation to support the youth programs at IN-SIGHT!
