Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is changing the way that people with vision impairments interact with the world in amazing new ways. AI can be found in a multitude of products, including smartphones, tablets, speakers, glasses, computers, appliances, and much more.
This workshop will provide a general overview of AI and how you may be able to use it to increase your independence. We will discuss smartphone assistants such as Siri and Google Assistant, Echo smart speakers, Ray-Ban Meta smart frames, and other available products, including how they work and the pros and cons of each.
