IN-SIGHT’s On the Move summer orientation and mobility camp is a unique free experience for children aged 7 – 17 who are blind and visually impaired. Staffed by certified orientation and mobility specialists, the camp focuses on helping the campers step out of their comfort zones by participating in many fun activities that build skills and independence.
All of the costs of the camp, including activity fees, meals, and camp t-shirts, are covered by our sponsors, including the Rhode Island Foundation, Rhode Island Energy, Shriners of Rhode Island, the Bernhardt Foundation, and many individual donors.
Registration for the 2025 camp is closed. Check back in May 2026 for information about next year’s camp.
