Our low vision clinic has an immediate opening for a part-time, state-licensed Optometrist interested in providing low vision evaluations for adults.

The schedule for this position is flexible based on the availability of the selected candidate, but would ideally be one day per week for 5 – 7 hours in the clinic, plus an additional hour or two per week for report writing and consultations with staff, which can be done remotely.

The selected candidate will work with patients to perform examinations, prescribe appropriatelow vision aids and devices, work with the vision rehabilitation staff to provide recommendations for training and support, and prepare visit summary reports. IN-SIGHT provides full administrative support for the low vision clinic, including appointment scheduling, referral and report collection, dissemination of visit summary reports, device ordering and inventory tracking, and insurance billing and tracking, allowing the selected candidate to spend as much time as possible with patients.
