Join us for this informative workshop on accessible voting options featuring Rob Rock, Director of Elections for the Rhode Island Secretary of State’s office on Thursday, October 1, via Zoom and phone-in at 11 AM.
There is a lot of interest in the election coming up on November 3rd. There are also a number of things to think about in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With that in mind, Rob will talk about the options that are available for voting via absentee ballot, early voting, and in-person voting at polling places on Election Day.
We will discuss the deadlines you should be aware of, how to find out what your options are for voting this year in your city or town, some alternatives for accessible voting for people with visual impairments including the automark voting machines and Braille ballots, and how election officials are preparing to make sure everyone’s vote counts.
There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the workshop.
