Blackstone Valley Explorer & Museum of Work & Culture
Thursday, June 25
9:30AM – 4:00PM
Join us for a fun day in the Blackstone Valley!
Our day starts at IN-SIGHT at 9:30 AM as we board a motorcoach and head to Pawtucket where we will hop aboard the Blackstone Valley Explorer for a 50-minute guided tour that will provide an opportunity to learn about the Pawtucket/Seekonk River – its beauty, ecology, and history – from a new perspective.
After the boat tour we are off to the River Falls Restaurant in Woonsocket for a delicious buffet luncheon. Next up is a quick walk next door to the Museum of Work and Culture, a unique place where guides will take us on a journey back in time to trace the city’s rich cultural history. The participants will also have free access to the AIRA smartphone app during the tour.
Tickets are $25 for VIPs (visually impaired persons). A limited number of sighted guest tickets are available for $65 each.
