Mary Abby Jusayan will be joining the staff at IN-SIGHT on November 4 as our new Assistive Technology Coordinator.
As an avid assistive technology user herself, Mary Abby will be able to help people to discover the right solutions to meet their goals.
Working together with Gloria Stuart in our Assistive Technology Discovery Center, the goal is to help people explore, learn about, and successfully use a wide variety of devices to build their independence.
Mary Abby is no stranger to IN-SIGHT. She was a longtime participant in our summer youth program before heading off to college.
She recently graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She is now enrolled in the Masters of Education program at the University of Massachusetts.
For the past several years Mary Abby has also been a mentor at the National Federation of the Blind’s BELL Academy summer program as well as Camp Mauchatea, a recreational camp sponsored by the Lions Sight Foundation.
