Adjusting to Vision Loss
December 3, 2021 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Living with a visual impairment can often bring about a lot of strong feelings and emotions. Sometimes we might feel overwhelmed, scared, angry, frustrated, or confused. We may no longer feel like our normal selves.
The thing to know is that these feelings are normal and are a healthy part of making a major life adjustment like living with a visual impairment.
Join IN-SIGHT Executive Director Chris Butler and Client Outreach Coordinator Doreen Holmes for this one-hour program which will help you learn about the adjustment process many people go through and how to move to a point where these feelings are not so overwhelming. We will also talk about strategies for regaining your independence.
This program is open to anyone living with a visual impairment as well as family members, friends, and caregivers.
