Register now for April programs!
There is something for everyone when it comes to workshops and programs at IN-SIGHT this spring! Our programs are designed for people living with any level of vision loss. You do not have to be totally blind, or even legally blind, to participate. If you feel like your decreased sight gets in the way of doing the things you want to do, you are welcome at any of these programs.
Participating in Virtual Programs
Several of the services we are offering this fall are being done virtually, which helps to ensure that we can keep everyone safe during this time. There are three easy ways for you to be able to participate in our virtual programs:
The easiest way to join our virtual workshops and meetings is by phone. By choosing the “Call Out” option when you register, just before the program starts we will call you at the phone number you provide. Once you answer our call you will be added to the meeting and can listen and participate on your phone.
If you refer to call in on your own, we will give you the phone number, the meeting ID, and the password for the meeting a few days before.
If you have access to a computer that has a camera and microphone, a tablet, or a
smartphone, you can participate using Zoom. This option allows you to see the speaker on your screen.
Recordings of some of our virtual workshops will be available on our website, in-sight.org, and on our Facebook page within a few days of the live event. An audio recording of some workshops will also air on IN-SIGHT Radio.

O&M What Works for Me
Friday, April 23
Solution-based, roundtable discussion by clients for clients, moderated by Melissa Mabee, COMS. Join us to ask questions and share experiences with peers who “walk the walk” every day. The best ideas come from each other – as one Insight client put it, “I don’t have all the answers but here’s what works for me.”
Assistive Tech Discovery Session
Tuesday, April 27
Join us for an open session where you can ask questions, discuss the latest technology, and share your talents and knowledge with the IN-SIGHT Assistive Technology staff as well as fellow assistive technology users!
These sessions will be unstructured and break out rooms that are available so that you may have your own space to discuss topics with other members.
